Refund policy

At Adaptive Equipment, we aim to provide you the best quality products at affordable price and ensure that you have the best shopping experience. In some cases, we understand that you may get a faulty product and must return it. Please refer to the information below to understand in what circumstances you can request the return and how to it.

If you change your mind:

You can return the product if you change your mind after your purchase within 7 days (Exclusions apply. See below).

Exclusions: All recliner chairs, mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs, adjustable beds and mattresses, all bathroom items, toilet seats and commodes.

The returned product must be in the following condition to qualify for change of mind return:

  • Unopened, unused and in its original packaging

You will pay the return postage and will be responsible for the product damage while the product is in transit.

If we receive the product in a faulty condition including open package, the refund will not apply, and the product will be shipped back to you at your cost.

The product will remain at our warehouse for 30 days should you not choose to accept the return.

Refund amount: The original amount you paid for the product. The original postage cost (if any) will not be refunded.

If the product is damaged:

If you find the product damaged at the time it was delivered to you, you must take picture of it and send it to us as soon as possible.

We will exchange the product for you as soon as we receive the original product back to us.

In some cases, we may send out new product without waiting for the original product to return to us. We will call you if that is the case.

If the delivery is incorrect:

If the product you received is not the product you ordered, please give us a call as soon as possible so we can organise the return and send you the product you purchased.

The refund will not apply if:

  • We sourced an item on your request, and we do not usually keep them in stock.
  • Custom made or modified items specifically ordered in are not returnable under any circumstances.

Product Warranty:

All products from our website are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The length of the warranty provided by the manufacturer may vary and is usually indicated in the product description on our website.

All approved Returns must be shipped at the Buyer’s cost and must be properly packaged and include a copy of the original invoice as instructed by Adaptive Equipment. Product returns which are not approved returns, or not otherwise consistent with our return policy WILL NOT be accepted and may not be suitable for credit/return.

Please note that we do not provide temporary replacement products for any warranty items undergoing repair or replacement. For instance, if your mobility scooter or recliner chair requires repair and is still under warranty, we can facilitate the repair process. However, we do not offer loan products during this period.

Please note, we do not give cash refunds. All refunds are paid back using the original form of payment. The cash purchases will be refunded in the bank account.
